We worked with Queen City Doulas for about six months, and they were absolutely wonderful. We had the chance to work with several different doulas and nurses, and every single one of them was professional, kind, and deeply caring. They didn’t just care for our baby — they cared for me as a new mom and for our entire family, even engaging our 3-year-old in such thoughtful ways. Kaitlyn has a true talent for finding loving, caring, and experienced professionals — and for matching them perfectly with families. She understood our evolving needs and made transitions seamless as we figured out how to get back to work while still spending quality time with our new baby. They offered incredible emotional support, practical help, and a calm, reassuring presence during those early months when everything feels overwhelming. I can’t recommend Queen City Doulas highly enough — their team truly goes above and beyond
Arianna was the biggest help postpartum. She started when my son was one month old and my husband returned to work. We planned on having her support our family for 4 weeks, we opted to extend for 4 more due to her amazing work. She helped with food prep, washing cloth diapers, laundry, cleaning, provided bodywork for both me and my son, played with my son, took him anytime I wanted to shower/eat/go to the bathroom, offered recommendations for chiropractors, acupuncturists, lactation consultants, nutritionists and more. She was a true angel, I don’t know how I would have got through this time without her.
Total game changer of a post partum experience! This was our fourth baby and by far the smoothest transition. Kristina came into our home and jumped right in with all the experience, confidence and love we could have asked for. She specifically helped each morning by making breakfast, packing school lunches for my three older kids, unloading dishwasher, keeping up with the laundry while I was able to nurse and tend to our newborn. She also kept the baby while I made my carpool rounds each morning. Not having to load the baby up into the car seat two times every morning was a life saver. She also helped by washing and prepping fruit, baking miscellaneous items for the week and prepping dinner on many occasions. We absolutely loved having Kristina in our home and her presence will be missed.
Queen City Doulas was wonderful to work with! Our doula McKenzie was sure helpful with navigating my postpartum journey. My first baby I didn't have as much support so I knew for my second baby that I was going to need additional resources especially with a toddler. McKenzie was able to take several things off my plate around the house so I could spend time with my newborn, including watching my older child. Kaitlyn was also wonderful to work with in communicating what we needed. I 1000% recommend Queen City Doulas!
We had the pleasure of working with Queen City Doulas, and both Haddy and Kelsey were truly exceptional in supporting our family. They helped us with overnight care and daytime support, bringing not only skill and professionalism but also warmth and kindness into our home. Their care for our little ones and attention to detail gave us peace of mind, while their strong work ethic showed in everything they did. They also went above and beyond by helping around the house, making our days feel smoother and less overwhelming. We’re so grateful for their support and highly recommend Queen City Doulas to any family looking for dependable, compassionate care.
We were looking for an overnight doula for our newborn and many people recommended Queen City Doulas. Our consultation call with Kaitlyn made me feel comfortable and confident we’d find someone who would be a good fit for our family. After our experience, that is an understatement. Stephanie Clark, our overnight nurse, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable, incredibly caring towards our baby, and it was easy to build trust. From swaddling to bath time and so much more, Stephanie helped shorten the learning curve that comes with being new parents (and helped us get some sleep). Any family would be lucky to have Stephanie as part of their postpartum journey!
Kristina was amazing! I felt secure knowing that she was taking care of my precious little one while I rested and recharged.
Kaitlyn and her team of doulas were a godsend during a critical time in our young family’s life. My wife developed postpartum complications and we needed significant support for our premature twins. We were so lucky to find Queen City Doulas. Kaitlyn immediately set us up with an amazing team of doulas. Our core doula team, Haddy, Kelsey, and Molly, were wonderful. Their skillset and knowledge were elite. I can’t fathom what would have happened to us without their help. I’m forever grateful to our doulas and we think of them as a very important part in our family’s story. This was money well spent. I can’t recommend Queen City Doulas enough.
Sarina and Kristina were both life changing during my postpartum journey. The second night home from the hospital Kristina was there and I was able to get some much needed rest between feeds. Kristina came for 8 weeks and we truly miss her at night! Sarina was our doula during the day and she is amazing with kids! My 3 year old son loved her! She was amazing at making sure I was fed and doing self care along with getting rest. I’m so glad I chose Queen City Doulas and I will forever be grateful for the difference it made for me and my family postpartum.
Tiffany provided the most wonderful support to my daughter and I during her first months of life. She helped both of us so much and I absolutely couldn't have done it without her. I looked forward to her visits so much, not only for my daughter but for my chance to connect and talk with such a kind and thoughtful person.
Queen City Doulas is absolutely incredible. We had Aiesha come for several visits to cook amazing meals - even my toddler LOVED them!! She is truly talented and so sweet, we loved having her here to support us with her delicious meals. We also had McKenzie for daytime support which was so good for me as a mom of now 2, so to have her with me to go to appointments and just having an extra set of hands in the house was a breath of fresh air. My toddler enjoyed spending time with both of them 🙂 Aiesha and McKenzie communicated well and arrived promptly. We felt very comfortable with them, and I know any family that invites them to their home will be 100% taken care of and supported.
Cannot recommend Queen City Doulas and Suzanne enough! She was a life saver for us. I experienced postpartum depression with my second baby and the lack of sleep was a major contributor - my only regret was not starting as soon as we got home from the hospital! Even one night a week of solid sleep is a game changer. Suzanne is so knowledgeable, a true baby whisperer, and so trustworthy.
Kaitlyn and her team were so kind and very responsive when I reached out them to twice. She scheduled a phone consultation the day I reached out and made me feel at such ease because I was so nervous with having my first child. I highly recommend using them.
We had a great experience with Queen City doulas and highly recommend Kaitlyn and her team of doulas. Val and Kimmi spent 8 weeks with our baby providing invaluable overnight care. It was so comforting to know our baby was in great hands and helped tremendously with postpartum recovery by allowing us to get adequate rest. Aiesha also helped with daytime support and was phenomenal. She was so great with our baby and provided a calm, nurturing presence in our home. Her presence and knowledge was truly invaluable!. We’re very grateful for Kaitlyn and Queen City doulas and can’t recommend them enough for nighttime or daytime support.
I cannot recommend Queen City Doulas enough and would give 10 starts if I could. I had a c section, hysterectomy and suffered 2 postpartum hemorrhages, and my husband and I desperately needed assistance at home to help care for my newborn. Kaitlyn was an incredible communicator and matched us perfectly with Stephanie and Carina, who are both nurses and combined have both trauma and NICU experience. I immediately felt comfortable with them in our home, knowing they could not only help my newborn, but watch out for my own health as well in these early days post hospitalization. Carina and Stephanie both taught us more in a few days than any book you could read on newborn care, from bottle feeding and burping, to car seat safety and pumping. I will never forget how Stephanie helped position my newborn on my chest in a way that was comfortable for me, finally giving me the bonding time I had been missing out on. They both were ready and willing to help us out with anything we needed-from changing a diaper/feeding to doing our laundry to caring for our newborn to settle him and setting him up with us on the couch where we all sat together relaxed and watched a movie for the first time. I am so incredibly grateful for their care and wish they could be with us all the time!
We loved working with Queen City Doula’s postpartum. Jodi, our night doula was professional, responsive to our needs/flexible (so important with a new baby) and you can tell how much she loves her little ones and clients! We felt like our son was always in great hands with her and so appreciated her attentiveness and nursing expertise that came in handy when we had questions as first time parents.
I had the pleasure of working with Sarina and Aiesha for postpartum support after having baby #2, and I would absolutely recommend them both! Thanks Kaitlyn for supporting us in this journey of parenthood 🙂
We have been so incredibly thankful for the support Queen City Doulas has offered as we welcomed our first child. Kaitlyn and team do a wonderful job matching doulas to your need and scheduling is quick and easy. The doulas themselves have each been fabulous! I'd recommend Queen City Doulas to anyone seeking postpartum or night doula support in Charlotte.
McKenzie has been an amazing support to us, she cares for my twins and is always helping out in any way she can. We are thankful we found her and Queen City Doulas!
I cannot express how grateful I am for Kaitlin and Queen City Doulas. When I reached out, I was in a state of panic, anxiety, and worry over some feeding difficulties with my then 2-month-old son. From the moment I contacted Kaitlin, she provided immense reassurance and support during our phone consultation (which was the same day I had reached out!). After talking through our issues, she referred us to Kelsey, a speech therapist who came to our home. Kelsey was incredible in helping us understand our baby's cues and introduced us to new feeding positions that significantly alleviated his eating difficulties. She also taught us exercises to help with his tension after the in-home evaluation. Within just a few days, we noticed substantial improvements in our son's feeding tolerance and intake. The relief and joy we felt as parents were immeasurable. Queen City Doulas' network of professionals and their commitment to supporting families is truly outstanding. They didn't just offer temporary solutions; they provided us with knowledge and techniques that have made a lasting difference in our daily lives. I'm so thankful that a friend recommended Queen City Doulas to us. Their compassionate approach, combined with their extensive knowledge and resources, makes them an invaluable support system for new parents. If you're facing any challenges with your little one, don't hesitate to reach out to Kaitlin and her team. They truly go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of both baby and parents.
Highly recommend! We had a great experience with Queen City Doulas - not only were the Doulas (Jodi, Kimmi, and Val) incredibly caring for our children but were skilled and experienced (prior nusing backgrounds, birth doula/midwife training etc.). We felt very comfortable with each of our caretakers - who were all professional and easy to communicate with. The schedules were set well in advance, and Kaitlyn did a great job being highly responsive to us. She has extensive experience with company insurance programs (in our case Carrot Fertility) and was very helpful to us in completing those forms.
We hired Queen City Doulas for lactation support and couldn’t have had a better experience. From the very first communication, they were incredibly responsive and professional, which immediately put me at ease during a stressful time. When Suzanne, the lactation consultant, arrived, she instantly made us feel comfortable and supported. Her knowledge and kindness created such a calm, reassuring environment, and she gave us the confidence and tools we needed moving forward. Honestly, if I could have her come every day just for her comforting presence, I would! I cannot recommend Queen City Doulas enough!
Noel was wonderful as a night nanny! She helped us get some much needed sleep after our second was born. Additionally, she gave us some good tips and pointers for newborn sleep, folded our laundry, and cleaned dirty bottles. It was refreshing to get a good night's sleep a few days a week and have less chores to do in the morning! Would highly recommend Queen City Doulas and Noel!
Kristina helped us transition from one to two kiddos seamlessly. She relieved me overnight so I could be on my A-game during the day for both of my children. But she also helped me get my newborn sleeping longer stretches by testing out different swaddles, feed times etc. Queen City Doulas was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend for any mamas or parents out there!!
Working with Kaitlyn and Kelly was one of the best decisions I made postpartum, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. From day one, Kaitlyn was incredibly thoughtful and supportive—she checked in consistently just to see how things were going and to remind me that I wasn’t alone in this season. That kind of care meant the world to me. And then there’s Kelly—our postpartum doula and a total game changer. Kelly didn’t just help me around the house (though that was amazing too!)—she became a true part of our family. She took the time to really get to know my kids, and it showed in the love and care she gave them every time she walked through the door. Because of Kelly, I was able to spend real, meaningful time with both my baby and my toddler—something I will never take for granted. Her support allowed me to be fully present, to bond, to rest, and to just be. That is a priceless gift, and I am endlessly grateful for it.
Queen City Doulas and Kaitlyn Foster came highly recommended! When I was in the early stages of pregnancy and planning for this next stage of life, I knew that having support, especially at nighttime, would be so critical. Kaitlyn was incredibly responsive, kind, and helped me understand the ways in which a postpartum nighttime doula could support on the journey. She then provided several options for potential doula matches. We were lucky enough to match with Jodi Kinney Davis! Jodi has been an absolutely critical part of my postpartum journey and my newborn’s first few months of life. She has supported us for 2-3 nights a week from 3 weeks to 12 weeks. Jodi brings immediate joy to our house every night she arrives and we always know our little one is in great hands, while Jodi allows us to catch up on sleep. She provides detailed reports on the evening and we work together to troubleshoot things like sleep regression or feeding challenges - her insight is always incredibly valuable. Throughout Jodi’s support, we have done both breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Jodi is always flexible to what we feel is best for our daughter and supports us every step of the way. We are already sad thinking of our time with Jodi as our doula coming to an end, but are grateful that we have made a lifetime friend. I can’t thank Queen City Doulas enough for making it possible! If I could give Jodi and Queen City Doulas 6 stars, I would!
We booked a postpartum night doula very last minute, and the process was easy. The doula we were paired with, Kelsey, was wonderful - calm, knowledgeable, flexible and competent. We got some rest knowing the newborn was in good hands. Based on our experience I recommend the company and Kelsey to anyone who is considering a postpartum night doula!
I cannot express how grateful I am for Queen City Doulas. It starts with Kaitlyn who heard the desperation in my voice and set us up with night support a day later! She is always very responsive and does everything in her power to help!.. and Valerie is incredible and was so good with our son over the past several months. She allowed my husband and I to catch up on much-needed sleep and has a special way with newborns. As soon as she came into our home, Leo was sleeping better. She has been a true blessing and made this chaotic journey of motherhood a little bit easier and a lot more joyful. Thank you so much, Valerie!.. we will be in touch for future needs 🙂
Queen City Doulas saved our lives for a couple of months! Meg not only allowed us to finally get some sleep, but she became part of our family as well. We will forever be grateful for QCD!
Cannot recommend Queen City Doulas enough. From our very first interaction with Kaitlyn, I felt taken care of and supported with my last minute decision to explore a postpartum doula! We were so lucky to have Jenny match with us as our family grew by one more. Jenny helped with my biggest goal - to get more sleep! However she did so much more than that. Always asking if there was anything else we needed help with (laundry was completed and kitchen was always cleaned) all while ensuring our sweet baby was cared for while I caught up on my sleep or had 1x1 time with my toddler. Jenny also helped support me with my sleep and my feeding goals for baby. My postpartum experience was completely different due to the support of Jenny this time around and I cannot recommend her and a postpartum Doula enough!
We were lucky enough to have postpartum support and care from Suzanne and she was absolutely incredible. I'm a first-time mom and we don't have any family in the area so Suzanne was a vital part of our lives during the early weeks. Her presence was so calming, soothing and comforting - she felt like part of the family immediately. She took care of me, and my husband, and also taught me so much about how to care for our newborn son. She also helped us with things like cooking, laundry, etc., and made herself available for calls and questions on days off. She's such a gem and special person and I'd highly recommend her to anyone. We are ever grateful to Suzanne!! We love you 🙂
Megan was an awesome caregiver for my 7 month old son. I was very nervous as I had never left him with anyone outside of family, but her friendly demeanor put me at ease. I could tell that she had a lot of experience with babies and my son seemed comfortable with her right away. I also appreciated receiving text updates throughout the day. I would absolutely have Megan back to care for my son again!
I could not be more thankful to Queen City Doulas! As a first time mom, breast feeding was something I was very nervous about. Google has so much information about it, which is very overwhelming but Kaitlyn made it easy to understand. The next couple of days after being discharged from the hospital, my breasts were engorged and I was in excruciating pain, but Kaitlyn came to the rescue and told me exactly what I needed to do. She is so knowledgeable and able to put an anxious-first- time mom at ease. A very special thank you to Suzanne, who came to my house during my first week of postpartum and taught me how to properly give baby a bath, latch my baby on and so much more. If you have any question about the baby or even yourself after delivery, she’ll know it all and more. I don’t know what I would do without their guidance during the crucial and challenging first few weeks. Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much, and a special thanks to Suzanne for coming to my rescue during the challenging first week of my postpartum and breastfeeding journey. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. As a second-time mom, I assumed breastfeeding would be easier this time, but I found myself in a lot of pain and struggling. Suzanne showed me how to help my baby achieve a better latch and taught me techniques, like massaging the breast, to make milk transfer easier for my baby. Her guidance made an immediate difference, and her support was exactly what I needed. Suzanne is truly wonderful, and I can’t recommend her enough to any mom navigating breastfeeding. If you’re struggling, don’t hesitate to reach out to her—she’s amazing!
Queen City Doulas is amazing!! I had a wonderful experience with two Doulas- Jodi and Alyssa. Both were caring, courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciated their support so much during my early nights with my newborn and always felt like they went the extra mile.QCD is also compatible with Carrot benefits, so I was able to use my company funding to offset the cost. Kaitlin made it easy to do too!
I would highly recommend Queen City Doulas! Kaitlyn was so nice and listened to what I was looking for in a doula. She suggested Kimmi as a good fit for me and she was right! Kimmi was very helpful and made my experience in the hospital much more comfortable and smooth. She was great with my 2 year old who came to visit and she took great care of my newborn! My 2 year old is still talking about her! I would definitely recommend Kimmi and Queen City Doulas if you are looking for a positive hospital experience!
Working with Kaitlyn and Carrye at Queen City Doulas was such a fantastic experience! Kaitlyn met with me to discuss my specific needs and requests to ensure she paired me with the best doula to help me meet my goals. Carrye was a dream to work with - so caring and knowledgeable as I navigated breastfeeding and quick to make sure she helped me keep things at the house clean and organized. In the early, sleep-deprived days and weeks of motherhood Carrye was such a gift to me and my family. I can’t imagine that time without her!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kaitlyn & Jodi and the postpartum doula services provided to me during the first 7 weeks of my baby’s life. I truly felt like they took time to understand my needs and concerns to be able to tailored support accordingly. Not only was my baby cared for with tenderness and expertise but also cared for me, encouraging self-care and helping me regain confidence in my new role as a mother. Thank you Queen City Doulas!
If you are considering hiring a post partum doula, DO IT. The support I received from Erin after having my son while recovering from a second c-section was amazing. She would arrive and jump right in to help with whatever needed to be done. Dishes, laundry, helping with our other child, you name it she did it. I struggled in the beginning with getting my son to latch correctly and she was right there to help and offer some tips/support. Erin is an absolute gem and huge asset to the Queen City Doulas staff!
We can't express enough how much Queen City Doulas changed our first few months with our baby. As new parents we had an incredible amount to learn and lots of change to adapt to. Kimmi, Jodi, and Zelle are truly lifechanging! We were able to feel a sense of ease knowing our baby was in such capable and loving hands and we had consummate professionals to coach us, teach us, and answer the millions of questions we had. We will be able to look back on the first months of our son's life so fondly thanks to their help. Furthermore, Kaitlyn has built a wonderful company and she is a remarkable leader. The standards to which she holds her employees and the constant feedback loop she creates made us feel even more assured that we really had a team supporting us through this process. We are continuing our relationship with Queen City Doulas even though our baby is sleeping through the night with daytime help and Megan is EXCELLENT. Her energy and constant effort have really helped his development and given mom some much needed time. We recommend Queen City Doulas to everyone we know who are expecting. We really can't thank them enough!
Our experience was wonderful. Kate is out night doula, she is so professional and did great job for taking care of our little one. Nina is also awesome, she is so detailed. Thanks also to Zelle, she is so warm-hearted and helped me a lot for being a first time mom. Also thanks to Kaitlyn, who is very nice and arranged all the schedules for us . Definitely recommend if you need a doula services.
Queen City Doulas are hands down the best. They offer personalized support during a mother’s most difficult time and treat you like family. From labor support to lactation, they have everything covered.
1000/10 Recommend Queen City Doulas and Aiesha!! My only regret was not hiring them SOONER! Aiesha was our postpartum night doula and made our lives so much easier as first time parents! Not only did she help with the baby's laundry, bottle washing, bringing me my pump parts so I didn't have to wake up fully, but she recognized cues that we, as first time parents, weren't aware of and helped us!! My son LOVES her!! He is already sleeping through the night and we owe that to Aiesha!
Suzanne was so helpful and encouraging at our lactation appointment! She made me feel empowered and shared lots of tips and information to help my latch and feeding experience. Even though I have breastfed a child before, she helped me remember what the newborn stage is like and was gentle and reaffirming to me as a mom! Incredibly positive and educational experience!
I could not recommend Queen City Doulas enough!! Our newborn care specialist, Noel, gave my husband and I the best peace of mind at night. We knew our son would be well taken care of each night! Being able to sleep through the night knowing our son was well taken care of let me be a rested mom for the next day! Noel was always on time, respectful and extremely helpful. I also really appreciated her wealth of newborn knowledge to help answer any questions from sleep transitions to feedings.
We absolutely recommend Queen City Doulas if you’re looking for postpartum support. The doulas we worked with are kind, professional, and obviously passionate about giving the best care to newborns. They were a blessing to us as first-time parents!
We could not be happier with our decision to use Queen City doulas. From the initial call we had with Kaitlyn, we knew we would be in good hands. Kaitlyn is responsive, caring, thoughtful and so clearly invested in what she does. McKenzie (who helped us during the day) and Jodi (who helped us at night) are both incredibly warm, bright, experienced caregivers, and treated our daughter like she was their own. McKenzie’s keen ability to manage household tasks on top of caring for an infant is unmatched. More often than not she was asking “what else can I do to help you?” always happy to tackle another task. Jodi’s expertise in newborn care and loving demeanor made us immediately comfortable leaving our baby with her at night. She was a steadying force for us as brand new parents and we felt tremendous relief to have her in our home. Both McKenzie and Jodi’s care for our daughter and for our family’s wellbeing extended past the hours that they spent in our house. We regularly received texts checking in on their off days that made us feel truly cared for. They both quickly felt like family. We can say with confidence that we intend on staying in touch with Jodi, McKenzie and Kaitlyn, and cannot recommend Queen City Doulas enough for postpartum care.
An answer to my prayers. Queen City Doulas is the absolute best of the best. ALL DOULA AGENCIES ARE NOT THE SAME. I am speaking from direct experience. Queen City Doulas has set the highest bar. I used Queen City Doulas formerly Wild Mother Path for several months for postpartum care for my first baby. Every single member of her team is amazing. Consistently on time, extremely reliable, clean, tidy, organized and provided a wealth of wisdom and knowledge . They always above and beyond. Kaitlyn’s team would reach out even after their shift was over to check in. It is so worth the cost—you cannot put a price on a peace of mind with your child. Every night I was able to be anxiety free (which is difficult for me as uptight should be my middle name) I knew my baby was in excellent hands. Kaitlyn the owner is absolutely amazing. When my son was finally sleep trained i was happy but I was also sad I wouldn’t be interacting with her and her team on a weekly basis. As soon as I’m 72 hours pregnant with my next child I will locking them in. I will only use and recommend Queen City Doulas to my friends and family. If you are even on the fence about whether to move forward take this as the confirmation to schedule a consult. You will not regret it. I am a walking ambassador for Queen City doulas -they embody what other doula agencies portray but may not put in practice. Kaitlyn, Kennedy, Valerie, Noel, Katherine, Kimmi and Lauren- I cannot thank you all enough. I can’t wait to work with you again when I’m pregnant with my second.
We are completely blown away by the support we received from Kaitlyn and Shannon during my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. They were both incredibly attentive and were available 24/7 to answer any questions we had. They ensured we felt empowered and confident in our birth and postpartum journey. Kaitlyn provided resources, connections, and overall support to help guide us through becoming first time parents. She provided (and continues to provide) constant reassurance and encouragement when it came to any fears or challenges we faced during birth and while navigating parenthood. Shannon provided extensive support through our one on one visits and over the phone throughout my pregnancy. As our doula, we were blown away by her ability to hold space for us during the birth process while also being non-intrusive, which is exactly what we desired. She provided the exact support we asked for. I feel so lucky to have had a birth attendant with such a reverence for physiological, undisturbed birth. She also provided wonderful postpartum care and helped optimize my healing after birth with nourishing meals, words of encouragement, and natural remedies to promote healing. We would highly recommend Queen City Doulas to anyone looking for support during pregnancy or postpartum. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this wonderful team of women! 🩵
Working with Kaitlyn and doulas Catherine and Alyssa was an absolute dream. Trusting someone with your newborn child is no easy feat. The moment after speaking with all three of them, I felt their warmth and expertise. I was able to enjoy the first 6 weeks with my new baby because I was getting high quality care and support from this team.
I can't say enough how grateful I am to have found Kaitlyn and Wild Mother Path. I was searching for women and birth workers who honored and respected the beauty of sovereign birth. I was connected with a Doula, Lauren, and she was the perfect soul to enter my birth space and encourage me through my labor. She embodied what it means to hold space for women giving birth. She came in and was a breath of fresh air for me and my husband. I also worked with Ariana who cared for my household postpartum and she has been wonderful in these early days/weeks since I've given birth. She has made the most amazing meals to help nourish us and has been really thoughtful about what she can do to take a load off of us caring for the household. She is very resourceful and I'm able to mostly rest in bed while she visits. You never truly know what you will need when you are pregnant and postpartum and the best part of Wild Mother Path is that the team has been super flexible when things come up. Kaitlyn is so quick to respond and show up when needed! Kaitlyn also got me in touch with Suzanne to support me with nursing questions and guidance and Suzanne came to help me immediately! Suzanne was very personable and was able to offer great tips that have made such a difference for me and my little one. I highly recommend this service if you are a first time Mom 💜
As first time parents, we were really looking forward to finally getting some sleep. We spoke with Kaitlyn who was very helpful in explaining the whole process. We had a "test night" with Chelsea to see how we liked having her come over and watch our newborn while we slept - and we loved it. So we had her come over weekly after that! Chelsea was fantastic from the start. She always showed up early and was eager to help. She kept notes throughout the night and would send us a "report" on how our newborn's night went. She would text us the next day with helpful sleep tips for when we were on our own. My wife and I have been very happy with WMP and would recommend them to anyone looking for a night nurse or doula.
We had our twins in August 2023 and Wild Mother Path helped us tremendously. We started with a phone call with the owner, Kaitlyn, to determine our needs and preferences. She provided us with a Sibling Doula the night I went into labor to stay with our 5 year old since we are new to the area and had no family locally. Then we started with Suzanne, a former NICU RN, as a night doula to help us a few nights a week - a total lifesaver. We had total piece of mind having Suzanne tending to our babies overnight. Once they were sleeping through the night around 11 weeks, we began working with Chelsea during the days. She has a kind hearted disposition and was nurturing and gentle with our girls. She tended to all their tandem bottle feedings, started with purées eventually. She gave them tandem baths, dressed them, etc. She took them for stroller walks, talked and played with them all day. She was flexible in helping us cover special events and travel, and very communicative about our girls’ care. She would send me pictures when I was working or out of town. She helped with dishes, light cleaning, and laundry. She would even jump in to play with our older daughter when she was home from school. I highly recommend Chelsea as she really developed ways to comfort and work with twin infants. Overall, this was a great experience and they really helped us bridge the gap with no family in the area.
Wild Mother Path was such a key piece in us feeling supported in the early days after our son was born. Kaitlyn was so easy to work with in getting things set up a few months before he arrived and Suzanne truly was the perfect fit for our family. Her empathetic personality and years of experience and expertise are such an incredible combination. We felt so comforted having her in our home and taking care of our son and can’t recommend her more highly! Thank you Kaitlyn and Suzanne for your incredible support:
EXCEPTIONAL! I took a chance on Wild Mother Path being a first time mother not knowing what to expect working with a Day Time Doula and Night Time Doula. We worked closely with Kaitlyn, Suzanne, Alyssa, and Kennedy. Every single one of them is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, and empathetic to a mother AND father's needs and emotional states post partum. We initially signed up for only a few weeks of night support. But after seeing the doulas in action and how much we were learning, we quickly booked an additional couple months worth of not only night time care but day time help. Suzanne was a God send. When I left the hospital after giving birth, my nipples were bloody and blistered. Suzanne showed me how to breastfeed, trained baby how to latch, showed us how to bathe our baby, how to soothe, ways to hold her, and was able to determine the cause of our newborn's digestive issues-she had awful reflux and had colic. She is now thriving and sleeping throughout the night from 8pm-6am at 9 weeks of age!!! In addition- she cleaned our home and helped my husband and I around the house including our daughters laundry. Alyssa was able to recognize from the beginning that our daughter was in pain and discomfort due to her reflux; as a first time mom I did not understand what was wrong. She was quick to identify what was wrong and gave wonderful guidance and help! She is incredible! Kennedy was so personable and if not busy with the baby and soothing baby back to sleep she was always busy doing household stuff that I just didnt have the energy or time to do. She is always smiling and is always so happy to help in whatever way is helpful to mom and dad. We cannot thank you enough Wild Mother Path for saving us!! You literally saved my sanity and helped guide me through the toughest transition in my life!! Thank you so much!!!
I received the “Closing of the Bones” ceremony with Ariana and it was the most exquisite experience I could have had after my birth. Her presence is so healing and powerful and every mother deserves this gift, post birth. It was gentle, nurturing, healing and the massage was exactly what my body needed to acknowledge the life altering experience of giving birth. I am so grateful and for sure will be doing this after every baby!!!
Wild Mother Path is a lifesaver for families! We hired Kaitlin and her team when we welcomed our 2nd, and I wish I had known about this with our 1st kid. We had the utmost confidence that Penny was in excellent hands with Suzanne and Kennedy (Kimmi). We were able to get rest without worry.:: my husband and I were saying how much more restful we feel this round as parents. Bonus, Suzanne is incredibly helpful with breastfeeding at the beginning, and just tons of knowledge. Cannot recommend this team enough!!
We are beyond blessed to of had the opportunity to work with Kaitlyn and her wonderful team of doulas over these last several months with our third child. I cannot say enough about this team and their knowledge, expertise, professionalism, reliability, and dedication to the care they provide. Kaitlyn was always receptive to feedback and very prompt in her responses. I appreciated the attention to detail and great communication between owner and staff members. Beyond caring for my son, the doulas were wonderful and went above & beyond by checking in on my mental heath, offering help with housework, & even provided last minute flexibility in arrival/departure times to accommodate for my family’s schedule. I would highly recommend Kaitlyns team to anyone needing overnight help with a new baby! It was truly a lifesaver for our family & busy schedules.
Kaitlyn was kind, quick and happy to answer any questions! She picked up AND delivered my vitamins making my life with a newborn a billion times easier. The vitamins were also beautifully packaged which was an unexpected bonus! Both my husband and I were extremely happy with her services and will definitely be using her again in the future!
Alyssa was with our family for 6 weeks and made a significant impact during her time. Letting someone into your home while you sleep is the most vulnerable position to be in and I’m here to tell you to trust the process and it’s (and YOU’RE) worth it to be your best self and parent. Alyssa walked alongside us and suggested swaddling again at 8 weeks which immediately improved our babies sleep. She made gentle recommendations regarding sleep schedules and bedtimes. She was a 3rd adult in our corner to troubleshoot what worked and didn’t. She provided reprieve and a few solid night sleeps a week to recharge my husband and I. My only regret is not using her before our sweet baby boy turned 8 weeks old. 💙
Wild Mother Path was a lifesaver!! I had postpartum health issues and ended up in the hospital three more times. I could focus on my health knowing that they were at my house taking care of my baby and my family. I ended up needing round the clock help when I got home and they adjusted the schedule so quickly. Every doula that helped us was so nice and professional. They taught us so many things as first time parents that we still use today. I could not recommend them more. I will definitely be using them again when we have a second child.
Kaitlyn has been such a tremendous help for my baby, me, and my partner. She is so knowledgeable, calm, kind -- everything you could want or need. I've had so many questions during and after my pregnancy, and she has helped me through them all! She's provided hands-on help with breastfeeding, helped calm my crying baby (!), and offered me reassurance when I thought things weren't going as they should. She has experience from multiple settings - the hospital, outpatient work, and she's a mother herself. I absolutely recommend her!!
I've been working with Kaitlyn through my second pregnancy and I would absolutely 10/10 recommend her to any woman walking through pregnancy - whether it's your first baby or your tenth. Kaitlyn has such a gift of being able to truly SEE you, to hold such tender space for even your most vulnerable of moments, and to really help you in trusting yourself in the moments where you question everything. Her extensive knowledge and expertise from being both trained in the allopathic realm of medicine AND her lived experience in the more holistic realm of medicine is the perfect balance for any mother -- she truly knows what she's talking about and has helped me navigate some major decisions with such confidence & ease. I am so grateful for Kaitlyn and the tremendous support she has/continues to offer me through my wild pregnancy. She truly was made for this work, and it's evident in her energy & her passion & her heart. If you're feeling called to be deeply supported through pregnancy/birth/postpartum, even if just virtually, SHE IS THE ONE. Hire her. You won't regret it. <3
